# What to do with excess sling fabric?

After you've installed your sling, whether it's the No Knot Little Wrap or the No Knot Woven Wrap, you may have some excess fabric “hanging out”.

Good news, it can have other uses!

The excess fabric (the tie) can eventually become an additional “cushion”:

* under the buttocks for added support
* behind the nape of the neck to provide extra support for the head, without impeding movement
* around the rings to protect baby's mouth and hands
