# While breastfeeding in a sling, I feel that my baby is too close to my breast. How can I be at ease?

When baby is in the nursing position in the wrap (in a cradle) with his head covered, he may be disturbed by the enveloping sensation provided by the strap that holds his head. You should:

* release her head from the strap and support her with your forearm.
* give slack to the strap that supports her head by pulling it forward from her back
* put more fabric under Baby's neck so that the strap opens a little more on the wearer's shoulder.
