Why is the composition of the materials different for each colour of the PARENT'S HOODIE?
Cotton fibre can be dyed, not polyester.
Hence the mottled effect, which is in fact a difference in reaction to dyeing between the cotton and polyester yarns.
That's why you need polyester to make mottled..
Mottled is always mixed with synthetic, otherwise it would give a plain grey result.
